Because they were deceitful, saying: He misled the children of Juifs, so he was sentenced to death, crucified on the cross. He died like that. If it were not for the Divine Eye, the mighty power of the Supreme Being, the death of Jesus Christ would have been obscured and forgotten, there would be nothing called supremely holy. It was not so. The Supreme Being had promised, had recognized him as His son, and He Himself had fulfilled His filial piety completely and sacrificed His own life to make the name of the Supreme Being highly honored, and to allow humanity to enjoy the special grace of the Supreme Being poured out upon them, to be His children. But now He was too thirsty, He could no longer bear it, so He asked for water to drink. They immediately took a sponge, dipped it in a cup of bitter gall, and gave it to Him to drink. Therefore, I commit my spirit into your hands." As soon as He said that, He breathed His last. |
| Cái hiếu của Ngài đến giờ chót đối với Đức Chí Tôn đã trọn, còn Đức Chí Tôn, nếu không phải giữ "Nghĩa" với đứa con yêu dấu con hiếu hạnh của Ngài, thì cái chết của Jésus Christ bất quá như kẻ tù nhơn chết mà thôi, có đâu lên phẩm vị Giáo Chủ ngồi trên ngai Thiêng Liêng vô cùng quí báu trên mặt địa cầu nầy gần hai ngàn năm (2.000) tức nhiên (1949) một ngàn chín trăm bốn mươi chín. | His filial piety towards the Supreme Being was complete to the last hour. As for the Supreme Being, if He had not maintained "Righteousness" (Nghĩa) with His beloved, filial son, then the death of Jesus Christ would have been merely like the death of a prisoner. How could He have ascended to the position of Religious Founder, sitting on the infinitely precious Divine Throne on this earth for nearly two thousand years (2,000), that is, (1949) one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine. |
| Trong lúc Đức Chúa Jésus Christ làm con hiếu hạnh có ba năm mà thôi, mà Đức Chí Tôn trả lại cái danh dự sang trọng cho Ngài đến một ngàn chín trăm bốn mươi chín năm là năm nay. | While Lord Jesus Christ was a filial son for only three years, the Supreme Being returned to Him that glorious honor for one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine years, which is this year. |
| Bài học ấy nó sẽ quí báu cho toàn thể con cái Đức Chí Tôn đương nhiên ngồi trong lòng Ngài, bây giờ nói toàn thể chúng ta đây không lẽ không có một người hiếu hạnh như Đức Chúa Jésus Christ đối với Đức Chí Tôn. | That lesson will be precious for all the children of the Supreme Being who are naturally sitting in His heart. Now, speaking of all of us here, is it not possible that there is not one person as filial towards the Supreme Being as Jesus Christ was? |

| Bần Đạo để cho toàn thể con cái Ngài tìm hiểu, kiếm hiểu, và làm cho đặng như vậy thì hạnh phúc cho nhơn loại không thể gì tả đặng. | I leave it for all His children to understand, to seek to understand, and to achieve such a thing, then the happiness for humanity would be indescribable. |
