NGÀY 16-01 TÂN MÃO ĐỨC HỘ PHÁP NHẬP VÀO TRÍ HUỆ CUNG. ON THE 16TH DAY OF THE 1ST LUNAR MONTH OF THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT, HIS HOLINESS HỘ PHÁP ENTERS THE PALACE OF WISDOM.
Tại Đền Thánh ngày 15-01 năm Tân Mão (1951) At the Great Divine Temple, the 15th day of the 1st lunar month of the year of the Rabbit (1951)
Kể từ ngày 16 tháng giêng năm Tân Mão, tức là ngày mai đây Bần Đạo nhập vào Trí Huệ Cung. Starting from the 16th day of the first lunar month of the year of the Rabbit, which is tomorrow, I will enter the Palace of Wisdom.
Bần Đạo đã nghe ngoài đời đồn rất dị thường, Bần Đạo lên giảng đài cốt để giải rõ nghĩa lý của Bần Đạo nhập Trí Huệ Cung. I have heard very strange rumors in the temporal world. I ascend this pulpit for the very purpose of clarifying the meaning of my entering the Palace of Wisdom.
Bần Đạo xin cho cả thảy con cái Đức Chí Tôn biết rằng: Nền Đạo Cao Đài Đức CHÍ TÔN đến lập, do nơi chơn lý tối cao, chính mình Đức Chí Tôn đến để diệt mê tín dị đoan, Ngài chỉ đem đến nền Đạo chơn chánh này mà thôi. I wish for all the children of the Supreme Being to know that: The Cao Đài Religion which the SUPREME BEING came to establish is founded upon the highest truth. The Supreme Being Himself came to eradicate superstition and heresy; He brought only this true Religion.
Nó có hai quyền năng sở hữu của nó nơi mặt thế này, cả hành tàng sống chết của nó đều chịu dưới hệ thống của hai quyền năng. It has two inherent powers in this world. Its entire course of life and death is subject to the system of these two powers.
Sống về xác thịt của ta đây, có thời gian sống của nó, từ buổi sanh ra đến lớn lên, đến già rồi chết, luật thiên nhiên ấy không ai qua khỏi, luật thiên nhiên có giới hạn, có định luật chuẩn thằng cho kiếp sống của chúng ta, nơi mặt thế gian này là hình thể, còn về mặt chơn linh của chúng ta, tức nhiên hồn của chúng ta phải chịu hệ thống dưới quyền vi chủ của nó, mà người làm chủ của nó không ai khác hơn là Đại Từ Phụ tức nhiên Thượng Đế. The life of our flesh has its own lifespan—from the moment of birth, through growth, to old age and then death. No one can escape that natural law. Natural law has its limits, a precise rule governing our life on this earth, which is the physical form. Then there is the side of our soul (chơn linh); it must be subject to the system under its own master, and that master is none other than the Great and Merciful Father, that is, the Supreme Being.
Nhơn loại mê tín dị đoan đã nhiều rồi, tinh thần loài người đã bị gạt gẫm nhiều rồi, bởi thế không gạt được nữa. Humanity has been mired in superstition and heresy for too long; the human spirit has been deceived for too long. It can be deceived no more.
Chỉ có hai quyền năng ấy, không còn có mặt luật nào khác hơn nữa, ta chỉ tùng hai quyền năng ấy mà thôi, ngoài ra là giả dối. There are only those two powers, and no other law. We must submit only to those two powers; anything else is a falsehood.
Bần Đạo vào Trí Huệ Cung tịnh luyện, điều ấy không nói được Đức Chí Tôn cho cùng không, chính Bần Đạo cũng không biết được. When I enter the Palace of Wisdom to practice in seclusion, I cannot say whether the Supreme Being will grant this or not; even I myself do not know.
Ngài ban cho chúng ta cùng chăng là do hồng ân đặc biệt của Ngài mà thôi, ấy là lời Bần Đạo giải nghĩa về mê tín dị đoan cho toàn thể nhơn loại nơi mặt địa cầu này vậy. Whether He bestows this upon us is due only to His special grace. This is my explanation concerning superstition and heresy for all of humanity on this earth.
Bần Đạo vào Trí Huệ Cung là do lẽ nhơn loại phạm Thiên Điều, vì loài người quá dữ gây oan nghiệt nơi mặt địa cầu nầy đầy dẫy, vì cớ, nếu không có tội tình ấy, Bần Đạo dám quả quyết rằng: Chí Tôn không có đến dạy hội hiệp con cái của Ngài lập cơ giải thoát tận độ con cái của Ngài bao giờ. I enter the Palace of Wisdom because humanity has violated the Divine Law. Because humankind has become too wicked, filling this earth with karmic transgressions. For this reason—if it were not for this sinfulness, I dare to affirm that the Supreme Being would never have come to teach and gather His children to establish a mechanism for salvation and to fully deliver His children.
Ngài đến đây bởi tội tình của con cái Ngài không phương cứu rỗi nên chính mình Ngài phải đến. He came here because the sinfulness of His children left them with no means of redemption, so He Himself had to come.
Bằng cớ hiển nhiên chúng ta đã thấy, Vạn Quốc xô nhau đến con đường tử lộ, bởi quả kiếp, họ chỉ biết cái sống của họ mà chẳng biết cái sống của người khác. We have already seen the clear evidence: the myriad nations push one another onto the path of death because of karmic retribution. They only know of their own lives and not the lives of others.
Nhứt là bạn đồng sanh của chúng ta, để mắt coi họ giết không biết bao nhiêu, giết đặng ăn, ăn đặng sống, sống đặng bao nhiêu tuổi? Especially our fellow creatures; watch how many they kill. They kill to eat, and eat to live, but live for how many years?
Giỏi cho lắm kiếp sống của họ không quá tám mươi tuổi rồi chết, thử hỏi, như thế biểu sao không gây oan nghiệt tội tình quả kiếp. At best, their lifespan does not exceed eighty years, and then they die. I ask you, how can this not create karmic retribution and sinfulness?
Các Tôn giáo hiện hữu họ cố tìm phương cứu rỗi, kiếm phương này không được họ tìm phương khác, cả toàn thể vạn quốc họ cũng bày ra Vạn Quốc Thống Nhứt, đặng tìm giải pháp duy trì hòa bình, tìm một giải pháp đặng tránh cho khỏi nạn tương tàn, tương sát với nhau. The existing Religions strive to find a method of redemption. When they cannot find one way, they seek another. All the nations have also established a \”Vạn Quốc Thống Nhứt\” (League of Nations) to find a solution to maintain peace, to find a solution to avoid the calamity of mutual destruction and slaughter.
Ôi! ỷ tài, ỷ tận, lấy trí khôn ngoan để tìm cái chết. Oh! Relying on their talents and their faculties, they use their cleverness to find death.
Cả quyền năng Thiêng liêng kia đã ban cho họ, họ lại làm món lợi khí tận diệt lấy họ. That sacred power which was bestowed upon them, they have turned into a weapon to annihilate themselves.
Đó là bom nguyên tử, họ lấy cái khôn của họ tìm ra cái chết, chớ không phải tìm cái sống, coi mạng sống của mình không ra chi hết, không biết đạo đức luân thường chi cả, không còn kể quả kiếp tội ác, như thế chết cũng vừa. That is the atomic bomb. They use their intelligence to find death, not life. They regard their own lives as nothing at all, knowing nothing of morality or social order, and no longer giving thought to karmic retribution or wicked deeds. For them, death is fitting.
Rồi họ lại tìm đủ cách để tránh tội, nhưng không qua mặt luật Thiên Điều, Thiên Điều kia họ không thể vi chủ nó được, vì nó là điều cầm sanh mạng của họ, chết hay sống đều do mặt luật Thiên Điều mà thôi. Then they seek all manner of ways to evade their sins, but they cannot escape the Divine Law. They cannot be the master of that Divine Law, for it is the law that holds their very lives. Life and death are decided by the Divine Law alone.
Họ không tìm phương pháp nào để giải quyết được hết. They can find no method to resolve this.
Thử coi trong 3 tháng Bần Đạo quì gối dưới chân Đức Chí Tôn, khóc lóc thỉnh cầu nơi Ngài cứu thử sanh mạng loài người đặng chăng cho biết, toàn thể con cái Đức Chí Tôn nam nữ cũng thế, rán giúp Bần Đạo, Bần Đạo xin một điều là trong 3 tháng Bần Đạo vào trong cảnh tịch mịch ấy, tương thân cùng Đức Chí Tôn, ở ngoài rán cầu nguyện giúp sức với Bần Đạo. Let us see, during the three months I kneel at the feet of the Supreme Being, weeping and pleading with Him to see if the life of humanity might yet be saved. To all the children of the Supreme Being, men and women alike, do the same: try to help me. I ask one thing: during the three months that I am in that state of solitude, in communion with the Supreme Being, please, those of you on the outside, try to pray and lend your strength to me.
Bần Đạo xin rán nhớ một điều này là “Xin cho đồng bào của mấy người, cũng như xin cho nhơn loại nơi mặt địa cầu này được phương cứu rỗi, ấy là may!”. I ask that you please remember this one thing: \”Pray for your compatriots, and pray for all humanity on this earth, that they may be granted a means of redemption. That would be a great fortune!\”
Bần Đạo chỉ đặt cái máy truyền thanh chỗ đó mà thôi, đặng cùng chăng là do nơi tinh thần của toàn con cái Đức Chí Tôn đó vậy. I am merely positioning myself as a conduit there. Whether this succeeds or not depends on the spirit of all the children of the Supreme Being.
