| Tấn tuồng ấy làm Bần Đạo cảm xúc quá lẽ. | That scene moved me beyond measure. |
| Hễ mỗi người chun ngang qua cái cơ làm như vuốt ve mươn trớn vậy. | As each person passed underneath, the implement would gesture as if to caress and stroke them. |
| Hạnh phúc thay cho những người ngộ đạo đã được ân đặc biệt ấy. | How blessed were those who had awakened to the Way and received that special grace. |
| Tiếc thay lúc đó con cái của Ngài không đông nhiều như bây giờ. | Alas, at that time, His children were not as numerous as they are now. |
| Bần Đạo tiếc; phải chi toàn thể con cái của Ngài hôm nay được Ngài ban ơn như thế, tỏ tình thương yêu vô tận. | I feel it is a pity; if only all of His children today could receive His grace in the same way, showing His infinite love. |
| Tuy vẫn biết và Bần Đạo dám quả quyết rằng: Giờ phút này Đại Từ Phụ đã chung ở với chúng ta. | Though I know well, and I dare affirm that at this moment, the Great and Merciful Father is dwelling here with us. |
| Ấy vậy toàn thể con cái của Ngài định tâm cầu nguyện đặng cho Ngài ban ơn (Toàn thể đều thành tâm cầu nguyện). | Therefore, let all His children quiet their minds and pray for Him to bestow His grace. (All present prayed sincerely.) |

| Cái hạnh phúc ấy, cái vinh diệu ấy còn chi hơn nữa? | What happiness, what glory, could be greater? |
| Bởi thế khi Ngài đến cầm cây linh bút mở chơn truyền, kẻ phàm tâm lấy làm lạ và không thể tin nổi. | That is why when He came and held the sacred pen to open His true transmission, those of mundane hearts found it strange and could not believe it. |
| Ôi! Một trường ngôn luận buổi nọ bao nhiêu kẻ chê bai, khinh rẽ. | Oh, what a field of discourse there was in that era, how many criticized and scorned Him. |

| “Cười khan mà khóc bởi thương bây, Chẳng mất một con nghiệt cả bầy. Biết phận già không chờ chống gậy. Nương theo con dại mới ra vầy.” |
“I laugh dryly, yet I weep for loving you so, Lest one child be lost, the whole flock shares my woe. I know my old age, but I do not wait for a staff, It’s for my foolish children I have come to this path.” |
| Thật vậy, Ngài quá thương con cái mới ra nông nỗi đó. | Truly, it was because of His great love for His children that He came to such a state. |
| Tưởng lòng thương yêu ấy không thể tưởng tượng nổi. | I think we cannot imagine that boundless love. |
| Chỉ câu “vì thương con dại mới ra vầy” nồng nàn thấm thúy đau đớn làm sao. | Just the line “It’s for my foolish children I have come to this path” is so poignant and painful. |
| Ngài nói vì thương con dại; chúng ta có hiểu chữ dại ấy không? | He said it was because He loves His foolish children; do we understand what that means? |
| Bần Đạo xin nhắc lại lời Chúa Jésus: “Phúc cho kẻ khờ khạo…” | I recall the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: “Blessed are the simple-hearted…” |
| Phúc cho kẻ khờ, vì quyền năng Cha Thiêng Liêng binh vực. | Blessed are the simple-hearted, for they have the power of their Heavenly Father to defend them. |
| Dù sống dại khờ, nhưng không cô độc, vì có Cha thay thế khôn cho. | While they live foolishly, they are not alone, for their Father provides wisdom in their stead. |
| Phúc cho kẻ yếu hèn; khi trở về cùng Cha nơi nước Hằng Sống, giá trị lại khác. | Blessed are the weak and lowly; when they return to their Father in the Land of Eternal Life, their value is exalted. |
| Khốn khổ cho kẻ áp bức trẻ con, góa bụa, tật nguyền; là nhục mạ Đấng Tạo đoan. | Woe to those who oppress children, widows, and the disabled; for they insult the Creator. |
| Nếu con của Ngài chịu khổ vì Ngài muốn vậy, dành quyền binh vực cho chúng nó. | If His children must suffer, it is because He wills it so, to reserve His protection for them. |
| Muốn tránh, chỉ có một điều: phải yêu con cái Ngài như Ngài vậy. | To avoid this, there is only one thing: love His children as He does. |
| Nếu đạt tình thương yêu vô tận, đó là hạnh phúc lớn nhất. | If we attain that infinite love, it is the greatest happiness of our lives. |
| Cả thảy tịnh tâm cầu nguyện để Bần Đạo ban phước (Đức Hộ Pháp ban phước). | Let all quiet their minds and pray so I may bestow a blessing (His Holiness Hộ Pháp bestows the blessing). |
| Sang trọng nơi thế gian này, ngày ta quy rồi chỉ là quan tài, mồ mả, cái lỗ. | Nobility in this world—on the day we pass, all that remains is a coffin, a plot of land, and a grave. |
| Sang trọng vinh hiển làm gì? giàu có làm gì? | What use is nobility? What use is wealth? |
| Phải kiếm món quý báu hơn: quyền Thiêng Liêng Hằng Sống của mình. | One must seek something more precious: one’s own power on the Divine Path to Eternal Life. |
