| Bần Đạo đã để Xá Lợi Phật tại Nghinh Phong Đài ba ngày ba đêm cho con cái Đức Chí Tôn chiêm ngưỡng Đức Phật Thích Ca. | I have placed the Buddha’s Relic at the Nghinh Phong Dai for three days and three nights for the children of the Supreme Being to contemplate the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni. |
| Hôm nay đã đủ three ngày Bần Đạo hành lễ an vị cho Ngài. | Today, after the full three days, I am performing the enshrinement ceremony for Him. |
| Chúng ta hân hạnh được Đức Chí Tôn ban cho đặc ân nơi Tòa Thánh, tức nhiên Đức Chí Tôn đem Đức Thích Ca về ở cùng chúng ta. | We are honored that the Supreme Being has granted this special grace to the Holy See, which means that the Supreme Being has brought the Venerable Sakyamuni to reside with us. |

| Ngộ nghĩnh là những điều Đức Chí Tôn làm bao giờ cũng dành để cho chúng ta một sự ngạc nhiên, và Xá Lợi Đức Phật Thích Ca là gì? | How remarkable it is that the things the Supreme Being does always hold a surprise for us. And what is the Relic of the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni? |
| Bần Đạo giải nghĩa cho toàn thể con cái Đức Chí Tôn hiểu: Khi Đức Phật Thích Ca qui vị, thì Ngài để di chúc cho cả Môn đệ của Ngài hỏa táng tức nhiên thiêu cái thi hài đó, thi hài của Ngài đã đốt nhưng chẳng hề khi nào tiêu hết, vẫn còn lại mấy miếng xương của Ngài dư thừa lại không cháy gọi là Xá Lợi. | I will explain so that all the children of the Supreme Being may understand: When the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni passed away, he left instructions in his will for all His disciples to cremate, that is, to burn his mortal remains. His remains were burned, but they were never completely consumed; a few of His bone fragments were left over, unburnt. These are called Śarīra (Relics). |

But by then, faith in Buddhism—that is, in the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni—had greatly declined in the country. |

Thus, because of the country’s instability, the government thought that if the relics were kept in the country, they might be lost. So they kept a portion and gave a portion to Ceylon. The Venerable Narada Théra, who presented the Jade Relic to the Holy See, is from Ceylon. |

They planned to keep the Jade Relic there, and then gather together to build a special Stupa to worship it. |

| Ngài nói Đức Phật Thích Ca là người cũng như ta, có xác thân như ta, sống chết như ta, chớ không phải là người ở trong thần thoại. | He said that the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni was a person just like us, with a physical body like ours, who lived and died like us, and not a person from mythology. |
| Nhưng cái cao siêu về tâm hồn của Ngài, về tiền căn Thiêng Liêng của Ngài đã lên tới Phật vị. | But the sublimity of his soul, his Divine root from past lives, had reached the status of Buddhahood. |
| Ngài tái kiếp làm người với mãnh thân phàm của Ngài cũng như ai kia vậy. | He was reborn as a human with a mortal, fleshly body, just like anyone else. |
| Cái quí trọng của Đức Phật Thích Ca họ đã nhìn nhận cái cao siêu về linh hồn của Ngài trước khi chưa đầu kiếp. | The reverence for the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni is a recognition of the sublimity of his soul before he was ever reincarnated. |
| Các Tôn Giáo bao giờ cũng vậy, họ muốn tôn tặng Giáo Chủ của họ lên một địa vị phi phàm, tức nhiên họ đặt ra nhiều lẽ dường như ảnh hưởng của thần thoại. | It is always the same with religions: they want to elevate their Founders to a superhuman position, so they invent many stories that seem to have the flavor of mythology. |
| Tinh thần con người bao giờ cũng vậy, sợ chết, muốn sống, mà cái sống ấy muốn thế nào cho trường cửu với họ mới được. | The human spirit is always the same: it fears death and wants to live, and it wants that life to be eternal. |
| Hại thay! Cảnh Hằng Sống không phải ở thế gian này với thi phàm xác tục của ta, mà cảnh Hằng Sống ấy nó ở nơi cõi Thiêng Liêng Vô Hình kia. | Alas! The realm of Eternal Life is not here in this world, with our mortal flesh and blood; the realm of Eternal Life is in the Invisible, Divine Realm. |
| Cảnh ở thế gian này là cảnh đau khổ, họ muốn cho các vị Giáo Chủ của họ phi phàm họ bày ra nhiều cái thuyết thần thoại, giờ phút nầy làm cho khoa học phải trợn trạo đánh đổ về cái lý lẽ ấy, đánh đổ rất khoa học không thế gì chối cải được. | This earthly realm is one of suffering. To make their Founders superhuman, they invented many mythological theories, which at this time has caused science to stumble and to overturn these ideas, overturning them with scientific reasoning that is impossible to deny. |
| Nào là họ nói Đức Chúa Jésus do một người đồng trinh tự nhiên đẻ ra, chính mình trong Đạo sử của Đức Chúa Jésus, cha của Ngài là Ông Thánh Joseph, mẹ của Ngài là Bà Marie, họ lại nói Đức Phật Thích Ca khi xuất thế ở trong nách của Bà Maya mà ra, Đức Lão Tử cũng thế, họ làm cho giờ phút nầy cả tín đồ các Tôn Giáo khó giải quyết, họ đem cái lý do thần thoại nêu ra làm một sự chơn thật. | For example, they say that the Lord Jesus was born naturally from a virgin, yet in the history of the Lord Jesus’s own religion, his father was Saint Joseph and his mother was Mary. They also say that the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni, when he was born, came from the side of Lady Maya. The Venerable Lao Tzu, as well. They have created a situation where today, the followers of all religions have difficulty resolving these issues; they present mythological reasons as truth. |
| Hại thay! Nếu mọi sự chơn thật nó có thể làm cho cả đức tin con người phải điên đảo. | Alas! If everything is presented as truth, it can cause a person’s faith to be thrown into chaos. |
| Chúng ta ngó thấy cơ thể tạo đoan có âm dương tương hóa mới sản xuất hình ảnh tức nhiên cả kiếp sanh và sanh mạng cả toàn thể vạn linh nơi mặt địa cầu nầy. | We see that the mechanism of creation has Yin and Yang mutually transforming to produce form, that is, all lives and life forces of all the myriad souls on the face of this globe. |
| Đừng có nói chi nhiều, nội điên lực, if không âm điện và dương điện thì chúng ta không có ngọn đèn sáng như thế nầy được. | To not speak of more complex things, just take electricity: if there is no negative and positive electricity, we could not have a bright light like this one. |
| Lại nói đến hơi thở của ta không có âm khí (Hydrogène) dương khí (Oxygène). Nếu chúng ta không có hơi thở đó chưa chắc gì chúng sa sống đặng, đừng nói chi nhiều cả cơ thể tạo đoan không có hàn nhiệt ôn lương, thì vạn linh nơi mặt địa cầu này chưa chắc họ sống còn và tồn tại được. | Or take our breath: it is composed of Yin gas (Hydrogen) and Yang gas (Oxygen). If we did not have this breath, it is not certain we could live. To not speak of more complex things, if the whole mechanism of creation did not have cold, heat, warmth, and coolness, it is not certain that the myriad souls on the face of this globe could survive and endure. |
| Huống chi cái luật Tạo đoan phải có cha mẹ, có âm dương của cha mẹ mới sản xuất cái nhơn hình của chúng ta. | How much more so for the law of Creation, which requires a father and mother; it requires the Yin and Yang of parents to produce our human form. |
| Thành thử Đức Phật Thích Ca cũng sanh như ai kia vậy. | Therefore, the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni was born just like anyone else. |
| Nhưng Tiền căn của Ngài cao siêu hàng phẩm của Ngài tới Phật vị, cho nên sự sáng suốt khôn ngoan của Ngài phi phàm hơn hết nên cả nước Tích Lan (Ceylan) đều gọi Ngài là Mâu Ni tức nhiên một vị Hiền Triết vô đối của họ. | But His root from past lives was sublime, His rank had reached Buddhahood, and so His wisdom and intelligence were more than human. That is why the entire country of Ceylon calls Him “Muni,” which means their unparalleled Sage. |
| Họ tôn tặng chức tước, tôn tặng Đức Thích Ca xứng đáng quá chừng, cũng như Đức Chúa Jésus Christ nhờ thiên căn sáng suốt thành thử người ta gọi Ngài là “Le Saint des Saint” (một vị Thánh trên các Thánh) Đức Lão Tử, Đức Khổng Phu Tử cũng thế, các vị ấy đều do nơi tiền kiếp phi phàm mà thôi, chớ các vị ấy xác tục cũng như ta, người cũng như ta, sống chết cũng như ta, đầu óc trí não cũng như ta, sống trong cảnh khổ não cũng như ta. | The title they bestowed, the reverence they gave the Venerable Sakyamuni, was so worthy. Just as with the Lord Jesus Christ, thanks to His sublime spiritual root, people call Him “Le Saint des Saints” (a Saint above Saints). The Venerable Lao Tzu and the Venerable Confucius were the same; these beings were all this way because of their superhuman past lives, but their fleshly bodies were like ours, they were human like us, they lived and died like us, their minds and intellects were like ours, and they lived in a state of suffering like us. |
| Bần Đạo ước mong các con cái Đức Chí Tôn hiểu đặng các điều chơn thật ấy, đặng tu, cố gắng làm sao cho phi phàm, làm sao dòm tánh đức của Đức Chí Tôn thế nào? học đòi cho đặng huệ quang của Ngài ban cho thì trí não ta mới thông suốt như Ngài đặng. | I wish for the children of the Supreme Being to understand these truths, in order to cultivate. Strive to become superhuman. Strive to see what the virtue of the Supreme Being is like. Emulate it so that you may receive the wisdom light He bestows. Only then can our minds become as clear as His. |
| Trước kia Đức Phật Thích Ca đã thành Phật đặng, thì chúng ta cũng thành Phật đặng, chính Ngài làm bằng chứng lẽ ấy. | Previously, the Venerable Buddha Sakyamuni was able to become a Buddha, so we too can become Buddhas. He himself is the proof of this principle. |
| Bần Đạo mong mỏi cả con cái Đức Chí Tôn cố gắng học đòi như Ngài đặng thành Phật như Ngài vậy. | I long for all the children of the Supreme Being to strive to emulate him so that they may become Buddhas, just as he did. |
