ĐỨC HỘ PHÁP Phủ dụ trong dịp các Cơ Quan tiễn đưa Đức Ngài sang Pháp, ngày 16 tháng 4 năm Giáp Ngọ Address by HIS HOLINESS HO PHAP on the occasion of the various Bodies seeing Him off to France, on the 16th day of the 4th month, Year of Giáp Ngọ
Thưa Chức Sắc Thiên Phong Nam, Nữ Lưỡng Phái, mấy Em Nam, Nữ con cái Đức Chí Tôn và các Thanh Niên các con Quân Đội. To the Male and Female Divinely Ordained Dignitaries, to my younger Brothers and Sisters, the children of the Supreme Being, and to the Youth and Soldiers.
Hôm nay Thầy lãnh sứ mạng Thiêng Liêng đem ngọn cờ cứu khổ đến Âu Châu. Today I accept the Divine mission to bring the banner of salvation to Europe.
Mong rằng cánh hạc huyền linh của Đức Chí Tôn sẽ đem tình yêu ái vô biên của Ngài đặng an ủi tâm hồn các chủng tộc nơi Âu Châu. I hope that the mystical crane of the Supreme Being will bring His boundless love to comfort the souls of the races in Europe.
May ra nhờ lòng yêu ái vô biên, quyền năng vô tận của Đức Chí Tôn tức nhiên Đại Từ Phụ sẽ làm cho một trường hổn loạn trở nên thái bình và hạnh phúc cho cả nhơn loại trên mặt địa cầu này. Perhaps, thanks to the boundless love and infinite power of the Supreme Being, that is, the Great and Merciful Father, a scene of chaos will be transformed into peace and happiness for all of humanity on the face of this globe.
Bần Đạo chỉ mong có một điều là tinh thần mấy triệu con cái Chí Tôn cũng như một tinh thần của Bần Đạo. I only hope for one thing: that the spirit of the millions of children of the Supreme Being is as one with my spirit.
Buổi Bần Đạo vắng mặt cả toàn thể con cái Đức Chí Tôn cầu nguyện cùng Ngài ban phước lành cho toàn thể nhơn loại là một điều trọng yếu hơn hết. While I am absent, the most important thing is for all the children of the Supreme Being to pray to Him to bestow blessings upon all of humanity.
Và tha thứ cả tội tình của họ đã gây nên, rồi đem chơn truyền lập Đạo Giáo cho họ, để họ giải cả oan nghiệt đã tạo nên từ trước. to forgive the sins they have committed, and to bring the True Transmission to establish Religion for them, so that they may resolve the karmic grievances they have created in the past.
Thật ra chúng ta ngó thấy hai trận đại chiến vừa qua, đã gây nên cũng bởi nơi Âu Châu hết. In truth, we see that the two recent world wars both originated in Europe.
Trong trường sát khí thấy hiển hiện ra trước mắt; chẳng phải nơi Á Đông này, mà thật ra bên Âu Châu khởi đầu mà chớ ! The arena of slaughter appeared before our eyes; it was not here in East Asia, but truly, it started in Europe!
Giờ phút này nhơn loại đang mơ ước hòa bình, nhơn loại đang khao khát hạnh phúc lắm vậy. At this moment, humanity is dreaming of peace, humanity is thirsting for happiness.
Hại thay! Những kẻ làm đầu nhơn loại, thay vì họ biết phận sự Thiêng Liêng tối yếu, tối trọng ấy đặng làm cho nhơn loại hết khốn khổ, dứt bạo tàn. Alas! Those who lead humanity, instead of recognizing that vital, crucial Divine duty to end humanity’s misery, to stop the cruelty.
Lấy cả tâm ái của Đức Chí Tôn làm căn bản hiệp chủng. and to take the loving heart of the Supreme Being as the basis for uniting the races.
Làm thế nào cho nhơn loại biết mình là con người duy có một mà thôi. To make humanity realize that Man is but one.
Một về Nòi Giống. One in Race.
Một về Xã Hội. One in Society.
Một về Đạo Đức tinh thần. One in Spiritual Virtue.
Hôm nay Đức Chí Tôn đem nền Chơn Giáo của Ngài rải khắp trên mặt địa cầu, và nó đã thiệt hiện ra như thế. Today, the Supreme Being has spread His True Religion across the face of the globe, and it has manifested in this way.
Chính Ngài làm đặng Ngài bảo vệ hạnh phúc, bảo tồn mạng sống của nhơn loại cho bền chắc. He Himself does this to protect happiness and to preserve the lives of humanity securely.
Còn một điều trọng yếu là Bần Đạo Âu Du thì toàn thể Thánh Thể, cả con cái Đức Chí Tôn, các con Quân Đội, phải lấy tâm hòa ái đối đãi với nhau, cũng như có Bần Đạo trước mặt vậy. There is another important thing: while I am traveling in Europe, the entire Divine Body, all the children of the Supreme Being, and you Soldiers, must treat one another with a harmonious and loving heart, just as if I were present before you.
Một điều trọng yếu hơn nữa là cả thảy cầu nguyện thế nào cho ngọn cờ từ bi bao phủ trên mặt địa cầu này. One more crucial thing is that you all must pray that the banner of compassion may cover the face of this earth.
Nếu mơ ước không có diệt vong mà thiệt hiện ra được. If the dream of avoiding annihilation can be realized.
Bần Đạo dám chắc không có điều chi vui cho Đại Từ Phụ hơn điều đó. I am certain there would be no greater joy for the Great and Merciful Father.
Bần Đạo xin để lời từ giã và mong ước khi ra đi thế nào, đến khi về thấy cả con cái Chí Tôn cũng như thế ấy. I bid you farewell and hope that as I leave, so shall I find all the children of the Supreme Being upon my return.
