Sau khi kiểm soát phận sự của Hành Thiện lãnh ủng hộ đồng bào Bắc Việt và Hành Thiện lãnh Thập Nhị Gia Liên Bảo. After inspecting the duties of the Hành Thiện responsible for supporting compatriots from North Vietnam and the Hành Thiện responsible for the Twelve Allied Families.
Mấy em ngồi im lặng để Qua nhắc thêm trách nhậm của mấy em, mấy em đã biết rằng, Hội Thánh Phước Thiện tức nhiên là Hội Thánh của Hiệp Thiên Đài. Trước chưa xuất hiện Hội Thánh Phước Thiện mà Hiệp Thiên Đài vẫn có ít người làm, sau lập thành Hội Thánh được Chí Tôn định đâu sẵn rồi nên giao phó trách nhậm ấy cho Qua, tức là chính mình Hộ Pháp là người làm đầu trong Hiệp Thiên Đài, trách nhậm đó nặng nề làm sao đâu. You already know that the Sacerdotal Council of the Charitable Body is essentially the Sacerdotal Council of the Heavenly Union Palace. Before the Charitable Body appeared, the Heavenly Union Palace still had few people working. Later, when the Sacerdotal Council was established, as the Supreme Being had already determined, He entrusted that responsibility to me. That is, the Hộ Pháp himself is the head of the Heavenly Union Palace; how heavy that responsibility is!
Khi ấy chỉ có ba người Hiệp Thiên Đài lãnh phận sự, Thầy, Chí Tôn nói : “Thầy muốn nơi nào có dấu chơn của ba con đến thì nơi đó hết khổ” và Chí Tôn cho biết rằng: “Cái khổ ách của nhơn loại là cùng khắp thế gian, nên Thánh ý Thầy muốn giao cơ cứu khổ cho con phải làm thế nào nêu ngọn cờ cứu khổ để giải khổ cho nhơn sanh cùng khắp mặt địa cầu nầy”. Qua không hiểu Qua là thế nào mà khi Thầy biểu Qua phải lãnh làm rồi Thầy sẽ dạy Pháp biến thân con ra vạn ức … Buổi nọ Chí Tôn dạy phải vưng, chớ chưa hiểu Pháp biến thân của Chí Tôn đã ban cho ra thể nào. Khi chưa có Hội Thánh Phước Thiện Qua rất ngại, đến chừng Chí Tôn dạy muốn lập Hội Thánh phải lập Thập Nhị Đẳng Cấp Thiêng Liêng trước, thật là quyền năng Chí Tôn vô đối, khi ban cho Qua không bao lâu mà lập thành được Hội Thánh Phước Thiện, tức nhiên là Hội Thánh Hiệp Thiên Đài, thì bây giờ đây đã có mấy em sẽ nối gót phụng sự Hội Thánh Phước Thiện chung lo gánh vác cơ cứu khổ để thay thế cho Qua gần gủi chúng sanh để phụng sự, gánh sự khổ não của con người thì thấy rằng: Chí Tôn đã giúp cho Qua thêm được nhiều tay chơn để lo cứu khổ cho mau ra chơn tướng. Before there was a Charitable Body, I was very worried. But when the Supreme Being taught that to establish the Sacerdotal Council, one must first establish the Twelve Divine Ranks, truly the power of the Supreme Being is unparalleled. Not long after He bestowed this upon me, the Charitable Body was established, which is the Sacerdotal Council of the Heavenly Union Palace. So now, you will follow in my footsteps to serve the Charitable Body, sharing the burden of the mechanism of salvation, replacing me to be close to sentient beings to serve them, bearing the suffering of people. I see that: The Supreme Being has helped me gain many more hands and feet to attend to salvation so that its true form may emerge quickly.
Ở bên kia Hội Thánh Cửu Trùng Đài đi từ phẩm Lễ Sanh đến Giáo Tông, bên nây Hội Thánh Phước Thiện đi từ Minh Đức đến Phật Tử mà mấy em cố gắng với trách nhậm của Qua đã định cho mấy em, mấy em rán làm xong thì là ông Tiên tại thế, không riêng cho mấy em, dầu cho các sắc dân trên địa cầu nầy mà biết chen vai gánh vác sự khổ của đời thì họ cũng đọat Tiên Tử được. Vậy mấy em thật hành được thì cơ quan cứu khổ sẽ thành lập đó vậy. On the other side, the Sacerdotal Council of the Nine Spheres Palace goes from the rank of Student-Priest to Pope. Here, the Charitable Body goes from Minh Đức (Luminous Virtue) to Phật Tử (Child of the Buddha). If you strive with the responsibilities I have defined for you, if you strive to complete them, you will be Immortals on earth. Not just for you, but even for other races on this earth, if they know how to shoulder the suffering of the world, they too can attain the status of Immortal. Thus, if you can practice this, the mechanism for salvation will be established.
Cái trách nhậm rất nặng nề mà mấy em rất hữu phước nên Chí Tôn ban cho mấy em được đứng vào trong Thập Nhị Đẳng Cấp Thiêng Liêng. Qua muốn sau khi Qua về Thiêng Liêng mà được thấy mấy em nối nghiệp cho Qua thì Qua rất vui mừng lắm vậy, huyền bí Thiêng Liêng đã định, chỉ có một mình vị Phật Tử, nên sự vui hứng của Qua là muốn thấy có một đứa em làm xong phận sự đoạt vị Tiên Tử sống tại thế gian nầy. The responsibility is very heavy, but you are very blessed that the Supreme Being has allowed you to stand within the Twelve Divine Ranks. I wish that after I return to the Divine Realm, if I can see you continuing my legacy, I will be very joyful. The Divine Mystery has determined that there is only one “Phật Tử” (Child of the Buddha – the highest rank). So my joy is to see one of my younger brothers complete his duty and attain the position of Immortal living in this world.
Mấy em rán nhớ đừng bắt chước làm quyền theo quan lại, mấy em phải yểm tình dục quyền tước lại, cũng như Qua yểm trên Thất Đầu Xà, chỉ mình tập tánh thương yêu mà thôi, đừng hờn giận ai, cứ bình tĩnh chịu những sự khó của ai đã làm mà mấy em phải gánh. Strive to remember, do not imitate the wielding of power like mandarins. You must suppress your desires for power and rank, just as I suppress the Seven-Headed Serpent. Only practice the nature of love; do not be angry with anyone. Just calmly bear the difficulties caused by others that you must shoulder.
Trước kia Qua ôm lấy trách vụ Đức Lý Giáo Tông cho Qua phải làm mà Qua chưa hề đem ra thi hành, Qua muốn mỗi việc khó của mấy em đều có Qua ngồi chung với mấy em, nếu có thể ngồi dưới đất cùng mấy em, ăn muối cũng vui với mấy em được vậy, ngày nay mấy em đã đem trọn thân thay thế cho Qua lo cơ cứu khổ, đã hạ mình nơi chỗ thấp mà mấy em chung lại ngồi bốc cơm nguội ăn cũng cứ vui, nên nhớ đã nghe những cái cực khổ gánh vác nặng nề nầy là chúng tôi chung sức gánh cho Thầy tôi, dầu cảnh khổ nào mấy em cứ đổ trút cho Qua đi cho nhẹ bớt, ấy là quyền Thiêng Liêng định vậy, hiểu chưa? Nếu mấy em tính có các Đấng Vô Hình ám trợ dầu gặp việc khổ cũng bớt khổ. Previously, I embraced the duties given to me by the Venerable Spiritual Pope Lý, which I have never yet put into execution. I wanted to sit with you in every one of your difficulties. If I could sit on the ground with you, eating salt with you, I would be happy. Today, you have dedicated your entire bodies to replace me in attending to the mechanism of salvation. You have humbled yourselves in lowly places; if you sit together eating cold rice with your hands, be joyful. Remember, listen: these hardships and heavy burdens are what we share in shouldering for our Teacher. Whatever suffering you encounter, just pour it out onto me to lighten your load; that is determined by Divine authority, do you understand? If you reckon that the Invisible Beings are assisting you, then even when encountering suffering, it will be less painful.
Mấy em hỏi lại mấy anh của mấy em coi sự khổ của mấy anh rất đáo để từ hồi tạo Đạo đến giờ, hỏi Hiền Nhơn Cương coi tụi nó chỉ bắt gió nắn nên hình, nhớ chưa? Phận sự của mấy em đang lo cơ cứu khổ cho Hội Thánh Phước Thiện thì mấy em phải làm, Hội Thánh Phước Thiện cũng nên giúp đỡ, mấy em nghĩ coi, từ thử đến giờ mấy em có vợ chồng lo cặm cụi sự làm lụng, cực nhọc lo một gia đình mà không rồi, nay lãnh thêm 12 gia đình nầy sao đặng. Ask your elder brothers about their suffering; it was extreme from the time the Way was created until now. Ask Hiền Nhơn Cương; they molded form from the wind, do you remember? Your duty is to attend to the mechanism of salvation for the Charitable Body, so you must do it. The Charitable Body should also help. Think about it: all this time, you have had wives and husbands, toiling diligently, working hard to care for one family and still not finishing. Now, how can you take on 12 more families?
Qua thấy mấy em vượt qua Giáo Thiện không nổi thì Qua tạo 12 gia nghiệp cho mấy em, tức là tạo thuyền từ cho mấy em nương qua, bên nây bực Hành Thiện muốn thăng Giáo Thiện cũng như bên Cửu Trùng Đài phẩm Lễ Sanh lên Giáo Hữu rất khó. Vậy nên Qua không tạo thuyền từ cho mấy em làm sao qua ải được. I saw that you could not surpass the rank of Giáo Thiện, so I created 12 family legacies for you, which is creating a boat of compassion for you to cross over. Here, for a “Hành Thiện” (Performer of Good Deeds) to advance to “Giáo Thiện” (Instructor of Goodness) is just as difficult as for a Student-Priest in the Nine Spheres Palace to rise to Priest. Therefore, if I did not create a boat of compassion for you, how could you pass the gate?
Hội Thánh Phước Thiện không có định số, hễ phẩm Giáo Thiện, thì cứ đi mãi cho đến Phật Tử, bên Hội Thánh Cửu Trùng Đài đã có số định, hễ nhập môn rồi đoạt đến Lễ Sanh thì ở đó cứ ngồi đó mãi, vì đã đủ 3.000 Giáo Hữu chờ có khuyết mới qua được, Giáo Sư 72 vị, Phối Sư 36 vị, Đầu Sư 3 vị, Chưởng Pháp 3 vị mà ngôi Giáo Tông chỉ có một vị mà thôi. The Charitable Body has no fixed number. From the rank of Giáo Thiện, one can keep advancing up to Phật Tử. In the Sacerdotal Council of the Nine Spheres Palace, there is a fixed number. Once initiated and reaching Student-Priest, one might sit there forever, because there are already enough: 3,000 Priests (Giáo Hữu) waiting for a vacancy to advance; 72 Bishops (Giáo Sư); 36 Archbishops (Phối Sư); 3 Cardinals (Đầu Sư); 3 Legislative Cardinals (Chưởng Pháp); and the Throne of the Pope has only one.
Phận sự mấy em không lạ, mấy em chỉ có bổn phận làm cha tạo nghiệp cho 12 gia đình, bảo thủ tài sản, chỉ dẫn công ăn việc làm cũng như lo cho gia đình mình đó vậy, dầu việc chưa từng làm rán cố gắng thì nên việc. Qua căn dặn một điều nên nhớ, thoản như có một trong 12 gia đình mà thưa gởi mấy em là thiếu phận, thiếu tình thương đạo đức, thì mấy em phải lỗi ước với Qua. Trong gia đình gặp cơn hoạn nạn, đau khổ, mấy em không ngó đến, rồi đây họ kiện mấy em đến Pháp Chánh thì mấy em thất phận, mấy em nhớ bổn phận làm cha, nên vẹn giữ cho trọn phận, chớ đừng biếng nhác thì phải mang tiếng “Tử bất giáo, Phụ chi quá” cứ biết với bổn phận mình là người lớn, phải lo cũng như lo nuôi dưỡng con cháu của nhà mình, đã chịu cực khổ đủ điều với gia đình mình rồi. Your duty is not strange. You simply have the duty of a father to create a legacy for 12 families, to protect their property, to guide their livelihood and work just as you care for your own family. Even if it is work you have never done, strive and you will succeed. I advise you on one thing to remember: if even one of the 12 families complains that you are lacking in duty, lacking in virtuous love, then you have broken your promise to me. If a family encounters misfortune or suffering and you do not pay attention, and later they sue you to the Justice Department, then you have failed in your duty. Remember the duty of a father; keep it complete. Do not be lazy, or you will bear the reputation: “If the child is not taught, it is the father’s fault.” Just know your duty as an adult; you must care for them just as you care for and nurture your own children and grandchildren, having already endured enough hardship with your own family.
