| Thật ra, nếu không phải cái huyền linh vô đối của Đức Chí Tôn đến đặng chuyển Quốc Đạo thì trong một thời gian ngắn ngủi nền Đạo chưa rõ đến địa vị cao trọng và quí hóa như thế này. | In truth, if not for the unparalleled sacred mystery of the Supreme Being coming to manifest the National Religion, then in such a short time, the Way could not have reached such a high and precious position as it has today. |
| Đạo Cao Đài tức Đạo Tổ Phụ của chúng ta chỉ mới có hai mươi mấy năm thôi, nếu chúng sa kể từ ngày chuyển thế của nó. | The Cao Đài Religion, that is, the Religion of our Forefathers, is only twenty-something years old, if we count from the day of its worldly transformation. |
| Nhưng Thánh Thể Đức Chí Tôn và toàn thể con cái Nam, Nữ của Ngài nên nhớ rằng: Đạo Tổ Phụ mấy người đã 2.500 tuổi. | But the Divine Body of the Supreme Being and all of His children, Male and Female, should remember this: The Religion of your Forefathers is 2,500 years old. |

| Đêm nay Bần Đạo giữ lời hứa buổi hôm kia. | Tonight, I will keep the promise I made the other day. |
| Bần Đạo nói rõ Thánh Ý của Đức Chí Tôn đến mức nào và Ngài muốn gì? | I will explain clearly the Holy Will of the Supreme Being: how far it extends and what He desires. |
| Giờ phút nầy cả toàn con cái của Ngài chắc có lẽ thắc mắc vì vậy. | At this moment, all of His children are surely wondering about this. |
| Nội tình của Đạo gặp nhiều nỗi khó khăn, nếu chúng ta không nói rằng nó đã chịu một khó khăn về mọi phương diện. | The internal state of the Way is facing many difficulties; indeed, one might say it has endured hardship in every respect. |
| Nhưng đối với Bần Đạo, Bần Đạo thấy mỗi phen Đạo chịu khổ nhục chịu khó khăn hay bị chê rẻ khinh khi thì Bần Đạo lại vui mừng mới chướng chớ! | But for me, I find that every time the Way endures humiliation, suffers hardship, or is met with scorn and contempt, I rejoice. How strange! |
| Bởi mỗi phen như thế là mỗi phen Đức Chí Tôn muốn rửa ráy nó, tô điểm nó đến một địa vị cao trọng thêm nữa chớ chẳng chi khác. | Because each such occasion is an occasion when the Supreme Being wishes to cleanse and adorn it, to raise it to an even higher and more honored position, and nothing else. |
| Cả con cái Đức Chí Tôn đều tin nơi Bần Đạo để con mắt quan sát coi có quả như vậy hay không? | Let all the children of the Supreme Being trust in me and keep their eyes open to observe whether this is true or not. |
| Cái khó đảm đương-nhiên bây giờ làm cho thêm nhục cơ thể Đạo là sửa soạn tô điểm đặng một đài vinh diệu vô đối. | This current, unbearable difficulty, which brings further humiliation upon the body of the Way, is but the preparation and adornment for an unparalleled platform of glory. |
| Trong thời gian ngắn ngủi tới đây, nếu cả con cái Đức Chí Tôn có đức tin thì hiểu rõ điều ấy. | In the short time to come, if all the children of the Supreme Being have faith, they will understand this clearly. |
| Trái ngược lại hễ mỗi phen đã gặp khổ hạnh khó khăn chi trong cửa Đạo thì nhớ lời của Bần Đạo vui đi! Mừng đi! | On the contrary, whenever you encounter suffering and difficulty within the gate of the Way, remember my words: Rejoice! Be happy! |
| Bởi chẳng hề khi nào trật điều đó. | Because this has never once been proven wrong. |
| Để quan sát lại coi, rồi sẽ thấy cái vinh diệu của Đạo Cao Đài sẽ đến mức nào trong thời gian sau đây. | Just keep observing, and you will see the level of glory the Cao Đài Religion will reach in the time to come. |
