* The meaning of “Xa thơ” is drawn from the Zhong Yong (Doctrine of the Mean), Chapter 28:
“In this realm, chariots traverse the selfsame roads, scrolls bear the like script, and manners are one and the same.
Thus, though one may possess the seat (of sovereignty) yet lack virtue, one dares not establish rites and music;
Even with virtue, yet without the seat (of sovereignty), one dares not establish rites and music.”
Hence, “Xa thơ” doth denote the unity of culture within a realm.
