The saints	Phẩm A La Hán
90. With journey finished and sorrowless,	90. Ðích đã đến, không sầu,
from everything completely free,	Giải thoát ngoài tất cả,
for one who has loosened all the ties	Ðoạn trừ mọi buộc ràng,
passion’s fever is not found.	Vị ấy không nhiệt não.
91. Mindful Ones exert themselves,	91. Tự sách tấn chánh niệm,
in no abode do they delight,	Không thích cư xá nào,
as swans abandoning their lake	Như ngỗng trời rời ao,
home after home they leave behind.	Bỏ sau mọi trú ẩn.
92. For those who don’t accumulate,	92. Tài sản không chất chứa,
who well reflect upon their food,	Ăn uống biết liễu trì,
they have as range the nameless and	Tự tại trong hành xứ,
the void of perfect freedom too.	Không vô tướng, giải thoát,
As birds that wing through space,	Như chim giữa hư không,
hard to trace their going.	Hướng chúng đi khó tìm.
93. For whom pollutions are destroyed,	93. Ai lậu hoặc đoạn sạch,
not attached to any food,	Ăn uống không tham đắm,
he has as range the nameless and	Tự tại trong hành xứ,
the void of perfect freedom too.	Không, vô tướng, giải thoát.
As birds that wing through space,	Như chim giữa hư không,
hard to trace his going.	Dấu chân thật khó tìm.
94. Whose faculties are pacified	94. Ai nhiếp phục các căn,
as steeds by charioteers well-tamed,	Như đánh xe điều ngự,
with pride abandoned, unpolluted,	Mạn trừ, lậu hoặc dứt,
to even devas this One’s dear.	Người vậy, Chư Thiên mến.
95. Like earth is one who’s well-behaved,	95. Như đất không hiềm hận,
secure and not resentful,	Như cột trụ kiên trì,
as city-post, as filth-free lake,	Như hồ, không bùn nhơ,
no wanderings-on for One Who’s Thus.	Không luân hồi, vị ấy.
96. Peaceful his mind and peaceful	96. Người tâm ý an tịnh,
his speech and actions too,	Lời an, nghiệp cũng an,
perfect in knowledge of freedom,	Chánh trí, chơn giải thoát,
One Thus is of utmost peace.	Tịnh lạc là vị ấy.
97. With no beliefs, the Unmade known,	97. Không tin [1] , hiểu Vô vi.
with fetters finally severed,	Người cắt mọi hệ lụy,
with kammas cut and craving shed,	Cơ hội tận, xả ly
attained to humanity’s heights.	Vị ấy thật tối thượng.
98. Whether in town or woods,	98. Làng mạc hay rừng núi
whether in vale, on hill,	Thung lũng hay đồi cao,
wherever dwell the Arahants	La Hán trú chỗ nào,
so pleasing there the earth.	Ðất ấy thật khả ái.
99. Delightful are the forests	99. Khả ái thay núi rừng,
where folk do not delight,	Chỗ người phàm không ưa,
there the Passionless delight,	Vị ly tham ưa thích,
they’re not pleasure-seekers.	Vì không tìm dục lạc.
	Chú thích: [1] Vị A La Hán tự chứng biết, không tin ai làm cho giác ngộ.
