| Chúng ta thấy Đại-Từ-Phụ lấy ba Tôn-Giáo: Nho, Thích, Đạo làm cơ quan duy nhứt, dầu về phần thiêng-liêng hay hữu-hình cũng vậy, để làm bí-mật chơn-truyền diù- dắt linh-hồn và thi hài của chúng ta là một phương-pháp đoạt kiếp giải thoát linh hồn. | We see that the Great and Merciful Father uses the three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism as the only foundation, both spiritually and physically, as the secret of the True Transmission to guide our souls and bodies. This is a method of overcoming the cycle of life and death and liberating our souls. |

These three philosophies combined take care of both the worldly and spiritual aspects. Our souls and bodies go to the end of the path where the Supreme Being awaits His children to unite with Him. |

| Người có nhơn là thì không có oán, nghĩa thì không bạc. | A person with benevolence does not have resentment, and a person with righteousness is not ungrateful. |

| Có công thì không có phụ, có chánh thì không có tà, không chối cái điều chơn-thật được, còn có từ bi thì có khoan hồng dung thứ, có bác-ái mới có thể bảo thủ và thân mến toàn thiên hạ, nếu chiếu theo chơn truyền của Đức Chí-Tôn khuyên bảo chúng ta thế nào, thì chúng ta phải tuân theo thế ấy, chúng ta phải khoan-hồng tha-thứ, biết yêu ái, phải có công-bình chánh-lý, chúng ta giữ được cả chơn truyền ấy thì không ghét ai, oán ai. | Where there is effort, there is no misfortune. Where there is righteousness, there is no evil. One cannot deny the truth. With compassion comes forgiveness and tolerance. With universal love comes the ability to to protect and cherish all people. If we follow the Supreme Being's true tranmission, we must be tolerant and forgiving, loving, just, and fair. If we can uphold this true tranmission, we will not hate or resent anyone. |
| Trái lại, Đại-Từ-Phụ buộc chúng ta phải thương yêu kẻ nghịch, kẻ thù của chúng ta nữa. | On the contrary, the Great and Merciful Father requires us to love even our opponents and enemies. |

| Chẳng lẽ Đạo Cao-Đài phải nhượng-bộ hạ mình trước đảng phái, vì cái tinh thần của Đạo còn chẳng nhượng ai, huống phải hạ mình làm nô lệ cho đảng phái. | Can CaoDaism compromise and submit to political parties? The spirit of CaoDaism does not yield to anyone, let alone become a slave to political parties. |
| Quyền tự chủ ấy là quyền của Đức Chí-Tôn ban cho, Thầy đã không làm tớ ai, nên quyền Đạo nó chỉ làm Thầy. | This right to self-determination is given by the Supreme Being. The Master did not serve anyone, so the right of Cao Daiism is only to be the Master. |
| Nó tự có một năng lực, mà cái năng lực ấy không tùng năng lực của ai cả. | It possesses its own power, a power that is not subject to anyone else's. |
| Nó có một quyền hành sỡ hữu, chớ không tùng ai và không theo đảng phái nào. | It has the power to own, it does not obey anyone and does not follow any political party. |
| Nó phải lập quyền yêu-ái công-chánh từ-bi, nó có phận-sự tạo nghiệp cho đời chớ không phải tôi mọi cho đời. | It must establish the power of love, justice, and compassion. It has the duty to create the legacy for the world, not to be a servant of the world. |
| Đời đang phải chịu vòng nô-lệ thì con cái của Đức Chí-Tôn bây giờ phải theo tôn-chỉ nào? | The world is currently under the yoke of slavery. What mission should the children of the Supreme Being follow now? |
| Phải biết rằng có Thiên mạng con cái của Ðức Chí Tôn là Thánh Thể, ông Trời tại thế nầy. | We must know that those with the Heavenly Mandate, the children of the Supreme Being, are the Divine Body of Supreme Being, is the God on earth. |
| Trời đã không nhường ai không làm tôi tớ ai, thì con cái của Đức Chí-Tôn cũng chỉ có phận sự giúp đỡ thiên-lương của con cái Ngài, vì thiên-lương ấy là căn-bản tạo quyền cho thiên-hạ, là con cái của Ngài, lẽ đương-nhiên chúng ta phải biết phận sự đối với quốc gia xã hội. | Just as God does not yield to anyone and does not serve anyone, so too the children of the Supreme Being only have the duty to assist the divine nature of His children. Because this divine nature is the foundation of creating power for the world, as His children, it is natural that we must know our duty towards the nation and society. |
