| Biết bao nhiêu, khi mới đến cùng Thầy, quì dưới chơn Thầy mà hể ra khỏi chơn Ngài rồi thì lại phản phúc Ngài và con cái của Ngài. | How many, when they first came to the Master, knelt at His feet, but once they left His feet, they betrayed Him and His children. |
| Bần-Đạo định quyết rằng; cái tai nạn của giống dân Việt-Nam đến cảnh tưởng nầy chúng ta phải nhìn nhận tội chúng ta vì thiếu đức-tin nơi Ngài mà ra vậy. | I am determined that the calamity of the Vietnamese people has come to this point because we must recognize that our sin is due to our lack of faith in Him. |
| Phải chi trước kia biết nhìn nhận Đấng đến diù-dắt ân-ái nâng đỡ, để đức-tin nơi Người, nghe theo Người thì cái nạn đổ máu tương tàn, tương-sát giống nòi không hề có đặng. | If only we had known before to recognize the One who came to guide, love, and support us, and to put our faith in Him and obey Him, then the calamity of bloodshed and mutual destruction of our race would not have happened. |

| Nếu Bần-Đạo tả hết cái tình cảnh của Đạo trót hai mươi năm nay, thì mới biết cái năng-lực của Đức-Tin nó mạnh đến bực nào. | Oh! If I could describe the situation of the Way over the past twenty years, then one would know how strong the power of faith is. |
| Từ khi Bần-Đạo đến đây, ai xô cũng không ngã, đuỗi cũng không đi, dầu còn dầu mất, dầu nên hư, Đức Chí-Tôn bảo Bần-Đạo ngồi nơi đây, ở nơi đây, dầu cho vì mạng lịnh ấy mà mảnh thân nầy có phải tiêu diệt để bảo trọng nền Chánh-Đạo, thì Bần-Đạo cũng không bước ra khỏi đây một bước. | Since I came here, no one has been able to push me down, no one has been able to drive me away. Whether I live or die, whether I succeed or fail, the Supreme Being has told me to sit here, stay here. Even if I have to sacrifice my life to protect the True Way, I will not take a step out of here. |
| Nếu Bần-Đạo quí trọng sanh mạng nầy, thì Bần Đạo có đủ thì giờ để trốn tránh. | If I cherished this life, I would have had plenty of time to escape. |
| Biết bao nhiêu bạn, khuyên lơn Bần-Đạo trốn đi. Bần-Đạo trốn được, tránh được mà Bần-Đạo không khi nào chịu vậy. | Many friends have advised me to flee. I could have escaped, I could have avoided it, but I never would have done so. |
| Đức Chí-Tôn bảo ở, dầu sống chết ngồi nơi đây ôm chân Ngài mà thôi. | The Supreme Being told me to stay, whether I live or die, I will sit here and embrace His feet. |
| Bần-Đạo chỉ để lời cầu-nguyện cả thi-hài và tâm-hồn làm tế vật cho Đạo được thành tượng mà thôi. | I only offer my prayers and my whole being as a sacrifice for the Way to become a reality. |
| Bần-Đạo chỉ xin có bấy nhiêu mà chưa chắc đã xin được, vì phải toàn thể con cái Đức Chí-Tôn quy tụ đức tin lại thành một cái năng lực giúp chúng ta thắng nổi quỉ quyền và các cường-lực đàn áp tiêu-diệt Đạo. | That is all I ask for, and it is not even certain that I will get it, because all the children of the Supreme Being must unite their faith into a force that will help us overcome the evil spirits and the powerful forces that oppress and destroy the Way. |
| Chúng ta bảo-trọng được nền Đạo, do cái năng-lực của đức tin ấy. Chúng ta qui đức tin lại bảo-trọng cơ Đạo thì thoát được cái nạn tương-tàn, tương-sát máu đổ thịt rơi. | We can protect the Way by the power of faith. If we unite our faith and protect the foundation of the Way, we can escape the calamity of mutual destruction and bloodshed. |
| Nếu toàn Đạo nam nữ nhìn Đức Chí-Tôn lập đặng cái quyền-năng ấy, chúng ta nương lấy nó mạnh-mẽ, cầu-nguyện đồng-tâm một ngày, một giờ thử coi Đức Chí-Tôn có giải thoát cho chúng ta không ? | If all the followers of the Way, men and women, see that the Supreme Being has established this power, and we rely on it strongly, praying with one heart for one day, one hour, let us see if the Supreme Being will save us. |
| Từ khi Bần-Đạo về quy-tụ các con cái của Ngài, thì Bần-Đạo đã giải-kiết cho Đạo nhiều rồi. Chúng ta cầu nguyện thêm và lo tròn phận sự phú thác thì ngày đoạt vọng không lâu, và chúng ta sẽ thấy có huyền-diệu hay không về quyền năng ấy. | Since I returned to gather His children, I have already saved the Way many times. If we pray more and fulfill our assigned duties, the day of victory will not be long, and we will see whether there is anything miraculous about this power. |
